During our Easter stay, we really enjoyed the ease of access to the hotel, making it convenient for us to come and go as we pleased. the private parking provided ample space for our large van, which was a huge relief. the clean and warm accommodations were a delight, especially since we could adjust the heating to our liking. the large patio doors leading out to a spacious patio were also a great feature, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the weather.
One of the negative aspects we encountered was the issue with the toilet seat. It would not stay up and would fall with a loud bang, which was quite inconvenient.

our summer stay in montrose was made even better by our recent stay at a cozy, beautifully decorated apartment with a spacious kitchen and access to laundry facilities. The comfortable rooms, large TV, and peaceful neighborhood created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The living room furniture was perfect for our group of 5.
Toiletries were lacking.

I had a wonderful stay at Ivy Cottage for a relaxing long weekend getaway. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spacious, with a well-appointed kitchen and access to a laundry room with both a washer and dryer. The tall shower and private parking in the driveway were additional perks that made my stay even more enjoyable. The property's location was ideal, just a short walk to a park and duck pond, and a quick drive to supermarkets, pubs, restaurants. The host, Michael, was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. I especially appreciated the WiFi, Netflix, and games console for entertainment, as well as the large private garden for sunny days. Already planning my next stay!
Totally recommend this hotel.

During our stay at Ivy Cottage, we were impressed by the ease of access and the availability of private parking, which was perfect for our large van. The cleanliness of the cottage and the ability to adjust the heating to our liking made it a warm and comfortable stay. We particularly loved the large patio doors leading out to a spacious patio, which would be great for families. The kitchen had limited cooking facilities but was sufficient for our needs. The private entry was a nice touch and overall, we would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again.
Although the description and pictures did mention that the kitchen was smaller and not suitable for large meal preparation, it may be a drawback for some guests who prefer a full oven and range. Additionally, the toilet seat in the bathroom would not stay up and would sometimes fall with a loud noise.
